What you should do when you have the cold

  • get lots of sleep
  • drink lots of fluid
  • get vitamin C (like from orange juice or those little cold tablets)
  • stay warm (will help the symptoms lessen the impact)
  • stay home- if you are not feeling well, going to work or school will just make you feel worse or get others sick
  • if you take cough syrup, stay home, it could make you drowsy and that could be dangerous
